Burlington, Iowa, November 5, 2005 – Installers and builders will get their first look at Winegard’s newest product, the HOME RUN, at EHX in Anaheim on Wednesday. Bob Howell, Director Signal Distribution/Off-Air Antenna Business Group, said “Winegard has taken the Triple Play one step further, by incorporating all the Triple Play services and much more, in one delivery system and bundling them in a new HOME RUN structured wiring box that distributes this package on a single existing coax cable.”

First in the box is MultiletTM, with the ability to offer multi-dwelling unit installers, the enormous advantage to network or retro-fit an entire MDU project on existing RG-6 coaxial runs. Second is Winegard’s new TRIADTM triple-stacking technology for total HDTV reception. Third is AMS’s QuantumAlertTM, a proactive web-enabled real-time 24/7 remote system that monitors the entire MDU IP physical signal distribution network. And fourth is the Triple Play itself, an HDTV Video rich environment, distributing satellite signal combined with free Off-Air HDTV signal, a highly reliable new High Speed broadband data network, with Modem-free Full Duplex Ethernet high speed Internet and Voice-Over-IP incorporated into the High Speed bundled connection.

Multilet allows the installation of a new MDU Residential Star Network without running new cables. From the entry point into an MDU or home, this highly reliable system distributes Video (HDTV), VoIP and High Speed Broadband Data, on a single cable run within and between residential buildings and/or rooms in a home. This provides easy of installation. One central distribution point saves time and money, makes retrofits easy, inexpensive, fast and cost efficient. There’s no need to rewire for LAN or Cat-5 to distribute to each room/unit and cross technology capabilities make it completely transparent to fiber, copper cables, satellite or xDSL broadband
Winegard’s HOME RUN with Multilet offers MDU unit installers, the enormous advantage to network or retro-fit an entire MDU project onto a single or existing RG-6 coaxial run, eliminating the necessity to pull additional coax or CAT-5 wire-runs. To the consumer, Winegard can now offer a product to easily network their home.

Winegard’s TRIAD takes Dual Stacked LNB Technology to the next level. Before TRIAD, a minimum of 2 cables had to be pulled to provide full satellite HDTV signals. TRIAD allows new installations and retrofitting of MDUs and SDUs to receive all HD channels from all three satellites, by stacking all 3 signals and combining them onto a single coaxial cable run.

QuantumTM Services provided by AMS will exclusively deliver the Triple Play bundle throughout MDUs from point-of-entry, while QuantumAlert simultaneously monitors entire properties, single buildings and/or individual users.
