Public Relations Services Described

PR Communications

I research and write press releases, company and product backgrounders, case studies, articles, fact sheets, testimonials, white papers, pitch letters, have, over the years, established professional and personal relationships with Key editors, Publishers, Reporters, Columnists, Contributing writers and pitch each document to hundreds of these contacts.

Business Counseling

In my role as outside counsel, I often see opportunities and problems developing in my clients' businesses. For example, I recognize profitable new areas of business; create innovative ways to market new or existing product lines, and design recruitment and training programs to be more effective. I advise clients on strategic planning. Always, the goal is how to help grow my clients' businesses.

Communications Audits

Communications audits employ extensive research to determine a client's communications needs and opportunities. Conducted prior to the planning phase, audits lead to more efficient, on target public relations programs.

Community Relations

Corporations have a responsibility to participate in, and contribute to, the communities in which they are located and serve. I create community relations programs that generate goodwill toward my clients. The deciding factor always is what the return on my client¡¯s investment is.

Trade and Consumer Marketing Communications

Buying is influenced by much more than advertising. By reaching the trade press and consumers through the news media rather than only paid advertising space, we can heighten the awareness and preference of consumers by means of credible, third party endorsements of your products and services.

Crisis Communications

The unexpected happens every day. When a business crisis strikes, a crisis communications program, prepared in advance, can lessen negative outcomes and sometimes turn catastrophes into communications coups.

Employee Communications

From newsletters to training programs to labor relations, I design employee communications programs to be measured against defined results. Objectives of these programs typically include greater employee identification with the organizations, enhanced productivity, improved safety, increased middle management awareness of organizational developments and goals and supported investment in corporate growth.

Industry Communications

I design industrial/technical public relations programs with a market oriented thrust that provide creative, individually tailored approaches geared to specific client needs. The focus of each program, whether it is geared to market or corporate communications, is on identifying problems and goals with results that win improved public opinion, enhanced credibility of a company (or groups within it) and increased sales and established leadership positions. A variety of techniques are employed, always suited to pinpoint client needs.

Investor Relations

To meet Securities and Exchange Commission requirements, I constantly monitor my clients' stocks, their industries and market itself and stand ready for instant disclosure of financial information. I work through the financial news media to reach investment audiences with messages that increase investor confidence.

Media Relations

In newspapers, trade and consumer magazines, radio, television, cable and the emerging media technologies, I know the outlets and the individuals nationwide who will pass on my clients' stories to the public.

Public Affairs

One of the fastest growing needs for improved public relations is in the area of public understanding/public perception. Often the greatest business opportunities come not from within a company itself but from the social, political or economic environment of the time. By projecting my clients' expertise into the public arenas to which it pertains, my clients become known as concerned, active authorities in their fields.

Publications

I take annual reports and brochures from conception to planning, research, writing, illustration, production, printing and distribution. I work closely with my clients' accountants, auditors, human resources and marketing staffs to create the most complete and compelling portraits of their companies.

Special Events

Here, the art of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary receives its most rigorous test. I specialize in creative approaches that make that store opening, product introduction, anniversary or merger not only newsworthy, but also memorable to consumers.

Speech Coaching

Increasingly, executives must deliver speeches and interviews with the news media to advance their own business interests. I research and script speeches and coach executives in effective speaking techniques and presentation skills. I also train executives to deliver calm, effective answers under the most heated media questioning.

Video Communications

The applications for the video communications medium are growing daily. I conceive, script, produce, edit and present in video form: feature stories, annual reports, news conferences, employee training manuals, analyst and shareholder presentations, case studies, product introductions and more.
